Ghana’s corporate landscape once again showcased its strength and innovation at the 2025 Ghana Corporate Brands Awards, held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra. Organized by Maven Communications Ghana Ltd under the theme “Mastering the Future: Recognizing Excellence through Strategic Branding and Leadership,” the ceremony honored 32 companies across diverse industries.
The prestigious awards as reported by Accra Street Journal, night was more than a celebration—it was a call to action. In his keynote address, Abdul Razak Baba, Deputy CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), urged Ghanaian businesses to see themselves not just as competitors, but as brand ambassadors shaping the nation’s global image. Echoing this sentiment, Seth Jojo Danso Asante, Events Director of Maven Communications, emphasized that winners were evaluated on corporate social responsibility, product quality, market impact, and brand messaging.
Among the honorees was Priority Insurance Company Ltd, named General Insurance Brand of the Year, 2025. This latest recognition builds on the company’s strong performance in previous years—securing Motor Insurance Brand of the Year in 2024, and double wins at the Ghana Accountancy and Finance Awards 2024 for Best Financial Team and Outstanding Customer Service in General Insurance.

Speaking on the achievement, the Priority Insurance team led by Mr. Ernest Danquah (Head, Retail and agency) highlighted that the award reflects the company’s customer-first approach, digital innovation, and commitment to excellence in Ghana’s insurance industry. The recognition is not just a milestone, but also a responsibility to continue setting benchmarks in service delivery, brand leadership, and financial security for clients.
