Matthew K.A. Aidoo

Matthew graduated from the University of Cape Coast, (UCC) where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) Degree and a Diploma in Education in 1992. He has an MBA from the Coventry University (UK). He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA). He is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), UK.

He started his professional career with the defunct Great African Insurance Company Limited in 1993 as an Accounts Officer and rose through the ranks to become acting Chief Finance Officer of the company in 1996. He worked with the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) as an Investment Analyst. He also worked with the West African Gas Pipeline Project as a Business Manager. In 2009, he was appointed as a Chief Finance Officer of Provident Insurance Company Limited before joining Priority Insurance as a General Manager in charge of Finance and Administration in August 2012. He held this position until May, 2014 when he was elevated to the position of Managing Director.
