Priority Insurance is delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of four young Ghanaian professionals who are making significant impact in the insurance industry in Ghana. The Institutes CPCU in2risk committee has selected Mr. Abubakari Salifu to present on the insurance Market of Ghana at the In2risk 2024 in Orlando Florida. This is the second time a Ghanaian Presenter on this global platform. Last year in Washington DC, the current President of the West Africa Candidate Chapter, Mr. Justice Peprah Agyei also presented on the same platform.

Mr. Peter Dennis has been appointed as The Institutes CPCU Society’s 2024-2025 International Ambassador. He will take over from fellow Ghanaian, Daniel Osei-Agyemang who is the current international ambassador. This is the first time consecutive ambassadors have been selected from the same country. The International Ambassador collaborates with the CPCU Society to promote the CPCU globally. This individual commits to meeting with industry leaders in their country to advance knowledge and goodwill of the CPCU designation. The Ambassador also writes an article for Insights, the CPCU Society’s quarterly publication, about their experience as ambassador and the insurance market in their region, helping to educate others while expanding their own network.

Every year, a volunteer committee of CPCU members selects the International Ambassador through a rigorous judging process. CPCU Society members living outside the US may apply for the program. The winner is awarded a scholarship to attend In2Risk, the CPCU Society’s annual conference. In2Risk 2024 will take place from this November 7th to 9th, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. CPCUs around the world will attend to network and share knowledge.
