Priority Insurance Co. Ltd., in partnership with iRisk Management Ltd., successfully launched their innovative “Home/Office 360 Insurance” product at a prestigious event held at the National Insurance Commission Auditorium. The launch attracted key industry figures, stakeholders, and members of the public who gathered to witness the unveiling of a product designed to boost insurance penetration in Ghana, which currently stands at less than 2%.

The high table featured prominent industry leaders, including Mr. Michael K. Andoh, Acting Commissioner of the National Insurance Commission; Mr. Matthew K.A. Aidoo, Managing Director of Priority Insurance Co. Ltd.; Sheila Wristberg, CEO of iRisk Management Ltd.; and Mr. Seth Koble Aklasi, President of the Ghana Insurers Association. Each speaker emphasized the crucial role this new product will play in expanding insurance coverage, particularly in underserved sectors.

In his remarks, Mr. Matthew K.A. Aidoo highlighted the importance of “Home/Office 360 Insurance” in bringing accessible and affordable coverage to a wider audience. “This product is a game changer for small business owners, tenants, and individuals who need affordable protection for their assets,” he stated. Sheila Wristberg, CEO of iRisk Management Ltd., echoed these sentiments, expressing optimism that the partnership with Priority Insurance will help more people understand the importance of insuring their belongings.

The General Manager for Marketing and Business Development at Priority Insurance, Mr. Salifu Abubakari, provided a comprehensive overview of the new product. He explained that the “Home/Office 360 Insurance” plan offers wide-ranging benefits, providing SMEs, tenants, shop owners, and the general public with protection for their contents and assets for as little as GHS 360. He further noted that the policy comes with extended benefits, such as Personal Liability coverage and protection against accidents, making it a complete package for those seeking comprehensive coverage.

Mr. Seth Koble Aklasi, President of the Ghana Insurers Association, also spoke about the significance of this product in addressing the low insurance penetration rate in the country. “With innovative products like ‘Home/Office 360 Insurance,’ we can begin to change the narrative around insurance in Ghana and make it more accessible to the everyday person.”
